Dr. Randilini Angammana is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Basic Sciences at the Faculty of Dental Sciences, University of Peradeniya. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree in 2014 with First Class Honours, topping her batch and receiving seven distinctions. Her exceptional academic performance was recognized with multiple awards, including the M.A.B. Brito Muthunayagam Gold Medal and the SLDA Gold Medal for the Best Student of the Year.
She completed her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Dental Sciences at Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Japan, supported by the prestigious MEXT Japanese Government Scholarship. During her doctoral studies, she contributed significantly to research in dental sciences, with multiple publications in high-impact journals. Her research interests include craniofacial anatomy, dental histology, and the application of advanced imaging techniques in dentistry.
