Many research activities in relation to patient satisfaction, denture hygiene, Candida, denture marking, dental education etc. are carried out in the department.

2. Effectiveness of Demonstration Videos Verses Live Demonstrations in Teaching Laboratory Techniques to Dental Students
3. Assessment of fracture Patterns and associated Factors in a group of acrylic denture wearers
4. A Study on attitudes and extent of the practice of denture marking in Sri Lanka and effectiveness of a “Denture marking” system to suit clinical and forensic requirement (in collaboration with Ministry of Health Sri Lanka)
