The Faculty of Dental Sciences, University of Peradeniya was pleased to welcome a group of fourth-year dental students from MISR International University, Cairo, Egypt, who visited the Faculty for an Observership Programme from 13th to 15th July 2026.
During their three-day visit, the students had the opportunity to observe the Faculty’s academic and clinical activities across various departments, gaining valuable insights into dental education and clinical training at the University of Peradeniya. They also engaged in meaningful interactions with undergraduate dental students, fostering the exchange of academic knowledge, clinical experiences, and professional perspectives.
This visit provided an excellent platform to strengthen international academic partnerships, promote cross-cultural learning, and encourage future collaboration between the two institutions. We extend our sincere appreciation to the visiting students from MISR International University and everyone who contributed to making this programme a success.
